MANILA FAME, The Design and Lifestyle Event, is the Philippine's leading commerce platform for exports and design, presenting opportunities for small and medium scale entrepreneurs to display their products in the world market. Manila FAME is one of the longest-running trade exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific, featuring the latest Philippine-made works from artisans and manufacturers and is the only trade event in the country approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

The 61st year of the Manila Furnishings and Apparel Manufacturers’ Exchange at the SMX Convention Center, that will be held this March, promises a different approach in Filipino artistry, taking into account the needs and wants of the 21st century global consumer. Innovative artisanal home and fashion merchandise will take the centerstage in the different lineup during the event: Design Philippines Scenography, Light and Shadow, Red Box, and Manila Wear. Curated by an artistic team of individuals composed of Budji Layug, Josie Natori, and Kenneth Cobonpue, the March edition of Manila FAME this year will surely make big waves in the entire year’s arts and design scene.

View the latest and best in Philippine design for furniture and furnishings, fashion and accessories, holiday gifts and decor, at the 61st edition of Manila FAME. Opening today, 13th of March, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex. The exhibit runs until the 16th of March, 2015.

One of the events I will definitely grace with my presence, when I do decide to leave my mom cave. Filipino craftsmanship at its finest, Mr. D told me. He went to one before and was totally amazed, showcased our country's best when it comes to furniture he said. Maybe next year for me? Hehe. One could always hope.
