As a stay at home wife and mom of 4, I deal with Onions on a daily basis. I peel, cut, dice, chop, mince, crush, saute, roast, stew, sweat, fry 'em, pickle or just eat them completely raw. Onions are indeed a great addition to a lot of dishes, but did you know that they are also among the best natural remedies for various health issues people suffer from? What makes an onion such a potent antiseptic and antibiotic agent, you ask? One reason is its the sulfur content. bottom of your feet with coconut oil and apply a thin onion slice into 
the arch of each foot. Wrap the foot and cover with sock. Let it work

 an onion and cut it in half. Put a tablespoon of brown sugar over 
each half and cover them for an hour. Take this relish twice daily to

<li><b>Air Purifier</b><br /><br />Put slided onions around the house to purify the air of bacteria and viruses.<br /><br /></li>
<li><b>Vomiting</b><br /><br />First, grate an onion and press with a cheesecloth to get the juice out or use a juicer if you have one. Then, brew a mint tea and allow it to cool. Drink two teaspoons of the onion juice and wait five minutes. Do the same with mint tea and then repeat the procedure until the symptoms go away. <br /><br /></li>
<li><b>Treat Ear Infection</b><br /><br />Chop an onion, put it into a thin 
sock or any cloth and tie it closed. Then, put the sock over the affected area,

<li><b>Breakup Chest Congestion</b><br /><br />Crush an onion and combine it with coconut oil to create a paste. Coat the chest with the paste and cover it with a dish towel. <br /><br /></li>

I am not that big on pharmaceutical drugs for the mere fact that the harmful side effects written on the package inserts are too risky for comfort. For almost a decade now, my family and I have survived solely on natural remedies and we've been doing great. This being the case, I was dead set on looking for an alternative to help ease my sister's pain whenever she does get her period, those pain killers that were totally frying up her liver just won't do. During my almost 2-year stay in Africa, I remember mentioning my sister's condition to my mom's best friend who had the same problem, only she got rid of hers by drinking parsley tea. It was the first time I've heard of it, so I researched on the herb that was more popular to me as a garnish than an herbal medicine.</span></div>

Testimonies of women around the globe pushed me to try it on myself and see what happens. I don't know about you ladies, but I always want my period to end the minute it begins and before, drinking Coke was the solution. Instead of the usual seven days, I only had to endure it for a total of three. But after eliminating the drink completely from my diet as I have posted <a href="http://stretchyourpeso.blogspot.com/2014/12/sodaholic-no-more-health.html">here</a> on the blog, parsley took its place. By the way, if you're pregnant and not giving birth any time soon, I'd avoid the herb all together since it causes the uterus to contract and might cause a miscarriage.
