Book Sale Alert

One of the most highly-anticipated book sales of the year is back! Yes, it's that time of the year again for the first installment of Scholastic's warehouse sale for 2016. There's one that they do every summer, which is this one, and another before Christmas. We weren't able to attend last year's Christmas warehouse sale, so we were definitely looking forward to this summer's.

Take your pick from a wide array of popular series, fiction books, non-fiction books, picture books, arts and crafts, references, inspirational, teacher's guides, young adult, romance, recipe and audio books that they have, with discounts of up to 80%! Familiar with the Magic School Bus series? They've got loads of them when Miss Artsy and Dave went last summer. Are you a Harry Potter fan? Somebody scored the complete series last Christmas, maybe they'll have those back in stock too!

How about doing a little book shopping of your own while having your son/daughter (ages 4-10) participate in Scholastic's Summer Reading Fun Workshop? It will be held twice a day every Friday and Saturday from April 16-May 28, 2016.  There are only limited slots, 12 kids per session to be exact. See poster for further details.

You may call 909-7218/0917-318-5261 or email educteam@scholastic.com.ph for reservations and other inquiries.

Tips:
  • Don't forget to bring ecobags
  • Take your time
  • Bring hand sanitizers or wet wipes, it's going to be a wee bit dusty, it is a warehouse
  • Dress in comfortable and light clothes for the heat
  • They accept major credit cards
  • Not all of the books are in mint condition, so inspect each one of them
  • Cabs don't frequent the area, install Uber/Grab haha
  • Bring water or some juices to keep hydrated
We are so going to this one! We're building the kids a huge home library, we already have a ton of books but we still have a long way to go! Now I'm off to tell Dave and Miss Artsy about it so they can set a date! They'll be ecstatic to hear the great news, that's for sure!

Get your ecobags, water bottles, and wallet ready! Don't miss out on this awesome book sale and stretch your peso!
