In need of a PSA (former NSO) birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate or a CENOMAR? NSO Helpline can help you get those documents quick and hassle-free, delivered straight to your doorstep in just a couple of days. Yes, no need to take a work leave, no more waiting for hours, starving (if you're alone and can't leave the line to get food), long lines and the traffic, not to mention the heat one has to battle to get to and from the nearest PSA office for certificate processing. The last time that I requested for an NSO certified copy of a birth certificate was when I was applying for Miss Artsy's passport, she was 3-years-old at the time. There was NSO Helpline then too, but only through phone. It was a convenience to get NSO certificates that way already. No more going to an NSO Serbilis outlet and the documents get delivered (anywhere in the Philippines) as well, but I had to go out and pay for them at the nearest Metrobank branch or Bayad Center, which was still a bit of a hassle for me. Now with NSO Helpline.com the already convenient way of getting PSA certificates just got even better.
I needed to get birth certificates for all four of our children, for local employment and passport application purposes. So I googled NSO Helpline and found their website. Here's a walkthrough of the whole process of requesting for PSA documents online:
Go to NSOHelpline.com, click Order
Choose which PSA certificate you need, I clicked on Birth Certificate.
You'll be asked to state the purpose of which you need the PSA document for, next.
Unlike before, I didn't have to talk to an NSO Helpline operator, so spelling the names of my kids over the phone repeatedly, a couple of times wasn't the case anymore, instead we just fill up a form.
Then you'll be asked to provide the name of the person who will be receiving the PSA documents upon delivery, I put my name of course, since I'm always at home.
Now we get to review the details of our request and provide NSO Helpline with our contact information, delivery address plus the number of copies we want to order. By then you'll see how much we need to pay before clicking the Save Changes button which will finalize the order.
By the way, Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates and Death Certificates costs Php 350.00 each and CENOMARs or Certificate of No Marriage costs Php 450.00. Both rates are inclusive of processing and delivery.
Once we get to the confirmation page, a summary of the request and the generated 10-digit reference number of our order can be seen, together with the payment options at the bottom of the page.
Over the counter payments through Metrobank and Bayad Centers are still there and now other modes of payments are available as well, such as via BancNet ATM, thru credit cards or your Globe mobile. I zoned in on the credit card route and used Dave's BPI My ePrepaid which is a debit card. This is the part that I definitely love about this service! It's so convenient to be able to settle payment without leaving home.
Another great feature of this particular service is that you can check the status of your order on the website. NSO Helpline also sends the 10-digit reference number of your request via email and SMS (upon confirmation of your order) which you can use to monitor the documents.

It took my orders a total of 3 business days to get processed and delivered to my doorstep via Air21. All four birth certificates were delivered the same day. I believe it's faster if you're from the Metro Manila area, I've heard of some people getting theirs the day after they paid.
I presented my passport to the Air21 delivery guy, signed some papers and now have the birth certificates I needed without leaving my mom cave! Isn't that just sweet?! We definitely stretched our peso in using this service! Try it out yourself!
