Parties at home made extra special

After our youngest daughter's birthday party, Miss Artsy kept dropping hints that she wanted a small celebration at home for her own birthday as well. It was a good thing that we had more than enough time to organize a fun party for our young lady. We didn't have to spend that much money this time around since we could reuse some of the props we used and didn't get to use for the last soiree.

As you can see from our cupcake and give away station set up, we reused the custom bunting, DIY 5-tier cupcake tower, cupcake cups and ferris wheel cupcake holder.

DIY Flower Paper Pompoms for a girly decor. Miss Artsy actually helped in making them. Bought our kit from Daiso, Sta. Lucia Branch. They're awesome!

Bought 8" paper mache letter, number and symbol standees from @arteescollection that were on sale, painted them purple and added embelishments for a more personalized touch. The give aways were the same as last time, our DIY custom key chains. :)

Printed out edited Disney Activity sheets for the kids, an idea that was inspired by our stay in California for almost half a year.

Printed out 2 copies of a Spot the Difference activity sheets for a team game.

Who doesn't love Olaf, right? Hence, the DIY Pin the Nose on Olaf game. We had a tarp printed out of an image of Olaf I quickly created in Photoshop using Grayscale, Eraser and Threshold. Miss Artsy drew, colored and cut the carrot nose with a little help from me. We just used double-sided tape to make it stick on the tarp, and of course let's not leave out the eye cover to complete this DIY game set. It was a hit with the kids and our not so young anymore guests haha. Even Mr. D took a turn!

It was a great day of food, fun and games. Make home celebration even more special with these fun DIY ideas for your next party while still stretching your peso!;)
