I'd like to ask all of you to kindly keep an open mind about "questioning vaccines," what's in them, how they affect an individual's body once injected, were there enough safety studies conducted to make sure that they are indeed safe and how much do doctors who give them really know about what they're injecting into their patients. Last weekend we went for an overnight stay in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. My sister is currently in the country for an overdue vacation and she wanted to treat our small family to a beach outing not that far from the metro. I was the one appointed to choose which beach resort to book which was a bit of a challenge, we only had limited options because it was a last minute thing. The accommodations and room service are of utmost importance to me since we do have 4 kids and I don't swim. Yup, I wouldn't go near the water if I could help it haha. That's why room service is a <b>BIG</b> deal for me. I know Dave and our eldest, Miss Artsy, don't care much about the room we'll be staying in because hitting the beach is the only thing they have in mind, but with little tykes tagging along on this trip, there should be a standard when it comes to the room we'll be resting in. And the food, we needed to make sure that our meals would be good across the board. </div>

Acuaverde to our delight wasn't crowded so we all could enjoy the scenery, the smell of the sea and the feel of the sand under our feet. My companions checked into our rooms first and the beds were already messy so I couldn't take decent pictures except for one that's why I had to grab photos from Acuaverde's official website to show you how each of them looks like all made up as shown above.</div>

As I said, the rooms were great, but the room service was even better. I kept ordering their fruit shakes, I loved their fresh watermelon the best. For their milkshakes, of course I went with their chocolate. I highly recommend trying their chicken wings - buffalo glazed, didn't try the adobo variant because I was already in love with the classic buffalo haha.I forgot to take photos the said dish, couldn't wait to gobble them up once they were delivered to our room.</div>

Swimming is only until 6pm, by then they'd light a bonfire near the beach. The view at night was great as well, the sound of the waves calming. Like us, most of the guests didn't sleep til late. Instead they'd either take a stroll around the cozy resort or stay in their private veranda sipping hot/cold drinks while enjoying the cool weather and beautiful scenery.</div>

The buffet spread was good at the Cocina Restaurant, we also tried their A La Carte menu which included the chicken wings that I can't forget. Breakfast was served around 7-9am, lunch at 12-2pm and dinner was at 7-9pm. Didn't have a chance to take any shots of the food since we had our hands full with 4 kids haha, we had to eat fast or else, there was going to be some crying haha.</div>

Yesterday, June 7, 2017,<b> </b>unauthorized transactions appeared in the accounts 
of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) clients. People of course took to social media to voice out their complaints and concerns regarding the discrepancies in their deposit accounts in the said bank. Some netizens said they lost up to five figures in a flash. Others said they not only lost all of their money, but also owe BPI some (negative balance). Meanwhile, some netizens reported money being added to their accounts.</div>

Depositors of the bank were alarmed Wednesday when they discovered strange withdrawals and deposits in their accounts. But who wouldn't, right? I also wanted to check if the same thing happened to my account and my mom's, unfortunately I couldn't log in via mobile app anymore no matter how many times I tried. I guess by the time I got whiff of the news, the bank already deactivated electronic channels which included online banking services. I couldn't go out to check via ATM.</div>

 long lines of puzzled account holders were starting to form in some 
BPI branches, the bank issued a statement saying that an "internal data 
processing error" had caused some accounts to be debited or credited twice for
 a past transaction.</div>

BPI said the error caused some 
transactions at BPI and BPI Family Savings, between April 27 and May 2, 
to be double-posted on June 6.  The bank
 assured that none of its clients would lose money as a result of the 
technical glitch, that the issues will be resolved on the same day and that the bank would continue to service them. </div>

The country's central bank meanwhile denied social media rumors that online hackers were behind the incident.</div>

"Hindi po ito na-hack. May mga natatatakot po kasi na ito ay
 hack daw po -- ito ang umiikot na balita sa social media. Para to make 
it clear at hindi rin po matakot, nakita agad ng BPI ang they are 
correcting it immediately po," Pia Roman Tayag, head of the Bangko 
Sentral ng Pilipinas' (BSP) inclusive finance and financial consumer 
protection, told radio DZMM.</div>

speculations circulating on social media. Just to make it clear, BPI 
immediately saw the error are now correcting it.)</div>

correct the error within the day and that "no customer fund will be

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, BPI said the glitch has been fixed and access to ATMs was restored.</div>

related to transaction mis-postings has been resolved. Access to ATMs 
has also been restored," the bank said.</div>

"Please accept our gratitude for your patience, and our apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced," it added. </div>

Although they said that the glitch was fixed, only ATM services has been restored, online and mobile banking on the other hand aren't up yet. I know, because I still couldn't log in to check our accounts last night after the announcement. I was hoping that they'd be back online today, but then BPI issued a statement around 10:30am via Facebook that they were deactivating electronic channels yet again due to some accounts still having incorrect balances.<br />

I've been a client of BPI for years, and depend on their mobile app's money transfer feature to pay for my online purchases and also the household bills. I sure hope they resolve this glitch as soon as possible.<br /><br /><b>UPDATE</b><br /><br />Was finally able to log in to the BPI mobile app last night and check the balances of our accounts, all is good. Glad they fixed it!</div>
