Our Books For Less Warehouse Sale Haul | 2015

Book Haul!

Mr. D being the only one who could brave going to an absolutely amazing but crowded Books For Less Warehouse Sale, only had time to go on the actual last day which happened to be a national holiday. It was cutting it close I know, but there was really no choice when he couldn't afford to take a leave of absence from work for the month.  At least he still managed to go and scored some great books for the kids.

He sneaked, yes sneaked, out of the house while The Little Hulk was busy doing something and couldn't care less (which is rare) that his favorite playmate was nowhere to be found. The warehouse wasn't that far from home, Pasig is actually just 10 minutes away so he got to the place in less than just half an hour.

When he finally got home, he was dead tired from all the digging he had to do to find books that would be perfect for the kids. It was a bit of a challenge he admitted since the books weren't organized in anyway. You really have to take your time and look in each nook and cranny of the warehouse, do not leave a stone unturned as some would say. Not bad, if I do say so myself. We got a total of 68 awesome books for the amazing price of only 20 pesos each! Mr. D brought 2 ecobags with him and bought as much books as he could possibly carry by himself all the way home. Unlike some other shoppers whom he saw were carrying boxes and boxes of their purchases out to their cars, they really took advantage of the huge price drop from Books For Less. It was rather stuffy inside, but what could you expect from a warehouse, right? Would we go again next year if they have another warehouse sale like this one? In a heartbeat, with boxes, cold water, a lot of companions to carry our books and a car to boot haha! Thanks Books For Less!
