PBA player, James Yap's son, Michael James or MJ for short, just turned one last August 8 and just look at how the high profile basketball star and his partner decided to celebrate this special milestone. Yes, they threw him a birthday party on Saturday, and not just an ordinary one but an enchanting safari themed celebration highlighted with gold.
Baby MJ has brought so much joy into the lives of his parents James Yap and Italian banker, Michela Cazzola and they consider him as their little prince who they shower with lots of love and care.
Spotted at the extravagant event, held at Blue Leaf Filipinas were PBA player Marc Pingris & wife Danica Sotto together with their kids, Chris Tiu, his wife and their child, and Julius Babao, Christine Bersola and their kids, among others.

After posting photos of his son's pre-birthday shoot a couple of weeks ago, basketball star James Yap took to social media to share some snaps of MJ's first birthday party, proudly featuring his son with his radiant Italian mom Michela Cazzola, Yap's girlfriend.
On Big Game James' Instagram account, he posted a photo of his little MJ, captioned, "To all my Ninongs and Ninangs, friends of my Dad and my Mom, my family, and the organizers, Thank You for coming to my party and making it so fun! Thank you also for all my gifts!!! Love you all!"
The wonderful snippets of the party were professionally captured in still images by celebrity fave Nice Print Photography & Exige Weddings, the balloons and dessert set-up were prepared by Party Bitz and Pieces, full planning was coordinated by La Belle Fete and the event styling was by Dave Sandoval.
The party was indeed a sight to behold. The venue was a brimful of green leaves and gold animal statues, even his cake, made by none other but Honey Glaze Cakes and Chef Castillo Fuentes, looked quite spectacular and stunning adorned with handmade gold decorations.
