Kaye Abad is set to marry Paul Jake, who proposed to her on her birthday last May, soon. The exact date as to when the ceremony will take place hasn't been announced yet but they did say that it will be in Cebu, sometime this December. More details were shared to the public, like a few of their wedding suppliers for instance, through her salon-themed bridal shower.

Kaye started her showbiz career as part of the hit children's variety show of the 90's, Ang TV. Yes, she did those "Esmyuskee and Nge!" jokes alongside Paolo Contis, John and Camille Prats, Rica Peralejo, Jolina Magdangal and the whole cast. She also starred in a lot of teen-oriented films and TV series like Tabing-Ilog where she was paired with John Lloyd Cruz. The show ran from 1999-2003 where the Abad and Cruz tandem were strongly remembered by people, like me, who watched it. I was a complete Eds and Rovic fan until the end haha.

For Kaye to be tying the knot at last with Paul Jake, who she has been dating for the past 2 years before the engagement, is something that would bring her family, relatives, friends and fans utter delight. I mean, who doesn't want to witness a story with a happily ever after, right? I watched her grow into the woman and artist she is today through the silver screen and can see the genuine joy she is exuding with her nuptials nearing.

Check out hashtag #CastilloNaSiAbad for more posts from Kaye and Paul Jake about their wedding preps. I'm sure everyone is curious as to who's making her gown, is she only wearing one? Or maybe 2 for that day. His suit? Who's the caterer? Which church in Cebu exactly? Where's the reception going to be? Who's the photographer and videographer? The questions just keep coming and I'm admittedly part of the curious to know crowd but I'm glad that we're not in the dark when it comes to who's making their wedding cake:

Indeed, they chose one of the best in the Philippine wedding cake scene, Honey Glaze Cakes. Their talented team even made her bridal shower cake that is just too beautiful to cut into. Wondering if they really ate it that day? Maybe they just couldn't help themselves since the cake tastes as good as it looks, so who could blame them, right?

Now I'm dying to know what the design is going to be, I don't even know if they have a theme and what colors they chose for their special day. Are there going to be flowers? A classic pure white cake? What flavor are they getting? One thing's for sure though, their cake is going to look and taste spectacular. Expect the best when Honey Glaze Cakes takes the wheel.
