Natural and Safe for Babies
When Mr. D and I became parents the first time, we learned the hard way, about not just going with the norm but doing our own research especially when it concerns our kids. Before, we'd just let the television decide for us which products to choose, obviously the branded ones and most likely endorsed by celebrities which doesn't necessarily mean that we were getting the best or safest items for our kids. It just means that we were going along with what the media says. Anyway, after a lot of pitfalls the first time around we ended up making better choices of our own through reading labels and doing a ton of research.
Lactacyd Baby Bath
All of our (Mr. D and mine) kids at present are St. Luke's babies and each new born baby bag that we get to take home that day has a bottle of Lactacyd Baby Bath in it. I don't think I've ever read or heard a negative issue linked to this product specifically with babies. I've even heard of some women with sensitive skin who use it as their facial wash which helped them a lot. And on our end you won't hear any complaints either, the product is as advertised and the ingredients as far as we've dug into are safe for babies. Our very own Little Miss Banshee who is bordering 2 years old is still using Lactacyd Baby Bath at present. Her skin is clean, fresh and blemish free as a result of each bath.
Ingredients. Lactacyd baby bath has two fundamental components, lactic acid and lactoserum. The former contributes to skin acidity and protects the skin while the former assists the skin regeneration and amplifies the beneficial effect of lactic acid. Together, the two ingredients make ideal skin cleanser as it cleanses the skin gently and thoroughly while conserving the physiological pH of the skin.

Human Nature Baby Products
Human Nature is all about natural and chemical free products. Unlike other "baby products" available in the market, you won't discover any harmful chemical if you research each ingredient in each of their product labels. You might be surprised to find out that a lot of well-known baby brands that we've been using for decades aren't really as safe for our little ones as they are supposed to be. Reading the labels and checking the ingredients might take some time but I assure you that it will be worth it in the end. In the case of Human Nature's Baby Care line, the products are what they claim to be, 100% harmful chemical free.
Natural Baby Wash Ingredients. aqua, decyl glucoside (coconut derived), coco glucoside (coconut derived), glyceryl oleate (plant derived), sodium gluconate (sugar cane derived), sodium cocoyl isethionate (coconut derived), Chamomilla recutita (chamomile), flower/leaf extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, xanthan gum, fragrance (all-natural), levunilic acid (rice or corn derived), anisic acid (anise seed derived), sodium phytate (rice bran derived), citric acid
Natural Baby Lotion Ingredients. water, glyceryl stearate (vegetable derived), dicaprylyl ether (vegetable derived), caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut derived), glycerine, stearyl alcohol, tapioca starch, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, glyceryl caprylate, Persea americana (avocado) seed oil, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, xanthan gum, fragrance (all natural), anisic-acid (anise seed derived)
Natural Baby Wonder Oil Ingredients. Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut derived), glyceryl caprylate (coconut, palm and glycerine derived), natural fragrance
These are the only baby products in the Philippines that Mr. D and I approve of for our precious little ones. This is not only due to the fact that a baby's skin is ten times more sensitive than an adult's but also because we don't want them absorbing harmful chemicals and getting sick from them as a result. Prevention is always better than cure. We all love our kids, so only the best, mildest and safest for them. It's our duty as parents (not the corporations or media mind you) to ensure their safety and well-being, that goes with skincare products we expose them to as well.
Take time to read labels and research. Oh and ladies and gents, this advice doesn't only apply to baby products. :)
