One of the biggest concerns parents like Dave and I have whenever we travel with our little tykes is car safety. set the lower anchors out in the open, so finding these small metal bars usually involves digging between the back and bottom seat cushions,
called the seat bight, to spot them. In other cases, the cushions are hard to move out of the way, or the anchors are buried too deep
between the cushions, nestled too closely against them or placed too
close to the seat belts. All of these scenarios make it quite hard to
install child-safety seats.
I know that a lot of parents out there want to know that they’re doing everything they can to protect their family, most especially when on the road. A car seat check can help a great deal in ensuring that our children are safe when traveling.

Car seats can be quite complicated to figure out and even install, so make sure to read the manual to help you understand your car seat. When you get a new car seat, make sure to read its manual thoroughly to ensure that you are not only using it correctly but also installing it the right way.
Next, register your car seat. This allows the car-seat manufacturer to alert you when there’s a recall of the product, you will know as soon as it is recalled instead of weeks later.
Finally, ask for help! If you are not at all sure whether you’ve installed your child’s car seat properly, schedule a car seat check in your area. And even if you think that you have installed it correctly, get it checked anyway, just to be on the safe side.
