Wendy's Rustic Garden Wedding

Do you watch PBB? I was definitely an avid viewer of Pinoy Big Brother when it first started airing on ABS-CBN back in 2005. I even know the show's theme song and danced to it at one point haha! But I didn't watch all of the seasons, only the very first one and the season that came after, so I'm familiar with Pinoy Big Brother Season 2's "Bad Girl" Wendy Valdez. She was the most hated housemate at the time, but still ended up as the 3rd runner up. Other than being the bad girl of Kuya's house, did you know that she was a Binibining Pilipinas 2005 runner up? She placed as Binibining Pilipinas Tourism, alongside Gionna Cabrera, Binibining Pilipinas Universe, Carlene Aguilar Binibining Pilipinas World, and Precious Lara Quigaman who placed as Binibining Pilipinas International that year. After her PBB stint, Wendy got her big break with a lot of offers and contracts from ABS-CBN. She was cast for numerous supporting roles in television shows and even starred as the lead actress in a teleserye titled Margarita.

She is definitely a beauty with a matching strong personality to boot. I've been a follower of hers on Instagram since last year and can't find the bad girl that I knew and watched on PBB2 anywhere on her social media feeds. Finding love can have that positive effect on anyone and I guess that played a huge role with regards to the visible change in Wendy. Let's take a peek at her intimate wedding to her non-showbiz boyfriend Normann Garcia. For all those garden wedding fanatics out there, you have got to see this one!

The intimate Christian ceremony was held at Hillscreek Gardens in Tagaytay, which was attended by family and close friends of the bride and groom. I fell in love with the color palette that they chose! Various shades of purple, with dashes of pinks and green accents. The flower arrangements and table set up are also to die for. This would be perfect for when our eldest daughter turns 18 is what I'm thinking!

A wedding will never be complete without a gorgeous cake that tastes delicious and perfectly blends in with the theme chosen for that very special day. Wendy took to Honey Glaze Cakes for this important aspect of their wedding and of course, Ms. Aileen and team delivered on all accounts, as expected from one of the best in the Philippine cake industry.

The intricately handcrafted sugar flowers looks so life-like, you'd think that they were plucked right out of a garden! It's safe to say that she loved it as much as we did (remembering my mom's birthday cake)! We still can't get over it up to this day by the way. Now I wonder which premium cake flavor Wendy and Normann chose for their wedding cake! One thing's for sure, no matter what cake flavor it was, it definitely tasted as spectacular as it looked! I wish I was one of their guests haha!
