I don't know when I stopped going for the loud chunky attention grabbing accessories that I usually lean towards. Maybe turning 31 did it and toning down was inevitable when it comes to dressing up. Tuesdays and Fridays caught my eye when I saw the shop owner's selection of vintage inspired romantic accessories that definitely fits my recently new style. If you're into vintage like me, you should check the shop out.</div>

I don't quite remember how I found the shop's Facebook page but I'm really glad that I did. The owner, Ms. Tuesday, is a home-based wife and mother who designs mostly handmade pieces. She has lockets, bracelets, rings, pocket watches, necklaces, USBs, bags and purses. What really caught my eye and drew me in was the Twilight Rose pocket watch. Just look at it.</div>

Sadly it was already sold and it was so rare that she couldn't guarantee that she could restock. But I got it in the end! I will tell you about it later on. So I was a bit heartbroken after finding out that I only had a slim chance of getting the piece I wanted. But then, she had other great pieces that I could choose from and can purchase them at a fraction of the cost since she's having an Anniversary auction on selected pieces for a month on eBay Philippines. Check out the pieces I won! I didn't get the Arwen necklace but 4 out of 5 is not bad!</div>

Some of these pieces are going to special someones in my life which they don't know yet. Special accessories for special ladies, I hope they don't read this post haha or it'll spoil the surprise. Before I could finalize my order though, Tuesday asked me if I was still interested in the Twilight Rose since she found one when she was cleaning! Of course I was, so we added that to my purchases.To wrap it all up, I payed for the accessories plus shipping fee through online bank transfer and am now waiting for them to be delivered. Who has dandruff problems? Whether it's due to the weather, the wrong shampoo or you've had it since forever it's just a big pain in the neck moreover when you want to wear black. Well, Mr. D has been battling his for years which only developed after he worked on a cruise ship bound for the Mediterranean. I blame it on Greece, or was it Turkey? Anyway, Borax totally did the job just after one treatment!</div>

Borax, also known as sodium tetraborate, is a boron mineral and salt that’s 
mined directly from the ground and wholly natural. It does not cause cancer, absorb through the skin or even accumulate in the body. It is not harmful to the environment. 
In fact, the largest borax mine in the world – found in Boron, California – is considered by <a href="http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=how-green-are-boron-cleansers" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Boron mining - is it green?">many</a>
 to be the most ecologically sound and environmentally sustainable mine 
in America. This is also the mine where 20 Mule Team comes 
from. Borax is acutely toxic in the same manner that salt is. Ingested in moderate 
quantities, it causes gastrointestinal upset and nausea. Bottom line: 
While it may be listed as “poison” on the box, it’s only toxic at very, 
very high levels the same way salt, baking soda, and even water is.</div>

So how did Mr. D end his dandruff problem with Borax? Well, he just added a teaspoon of it to a cup of water and used it as the final rinse for his hair after the usual organic bar shampoo wash he does. He let the borax solution dry on his hair. There was still some visible flakes to tell you the truth but it was way better than before and we weren't expecting an instant result anyway. The next day there wasn't a dandruff flake in sight and his scalp looked super clean and healthy!</div>

Borax kills fungus and nano-bacteria which we discovered by chance when we used it for the DIY natural termite and ant treatment we did around the house (I will share on another post). We reconfirmed the fact that it does kill fungus through a bit of research. Dandruff is a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia that lives on scalp, no wonder Borax got the job done!</div>

Saw these vintage rose rings first on Amazon and then on an IG account of a mom selling some preloved clothes and accessories she rarely used. The shipping fee if I do get it from Amazon was going to cost me a fortune, so that was out of the question. On the other hand buying that one ring from the IG account wasn't so practical either since the shipping would cost more than the item itself and I couldn't find anything else from her posts to purchase. Thank goodness I stumbled on SimpleJoysPH who had different vintage accessories to choose from! </div>

I gave her my details, then she gave me instructions on how to settle my bill and let me know that it'll take 2-3 days for my package to arrive after she receives payment. I got it done the next day through bank deposit and true to her word I received my precious finds 3 days after.</div>

Just look at them! Lovely aren't they? I don't even care that all the rings are too big for me, I wear one of them when I write blog posts which Mr. D thinks is weird. I gave the earrings to Miss Artsy which she immediately wore to school the next day. All in all I am once again a very happy client of an IG shop. My love affair with IKEA started in California, back in 2010. I didn't know what I was getting into until I visited one of their stores, it was like a dream! They had everything and I wanted to buy the whole store or live in it! Talk about quality products that don't break the bank, they were all priced reasonably! I was so sad to leave the store behind when we left the states. We actually took a lot of IKEA items back here in the Philippines thinking I wouldn't be able to buy any of them locally. So happy to have stumbled upon Creative_Moms for my every IKEA need!</div>

I found their Instagram account just in time, we were in need of plastic dinnerware for the kids since the Little Hulk started to eat on his own and we wanted to stay away from the broken glass scene as much as possible. I immediately messaged them through Viber (I just love Viber) and pre-ordered the items I wanted. At first I ordered 2 IKEA Ice Loly Makers in 2 colors, the complete KALAS dinnerware set, and 2 medium FRAKTAs for Mr. D. I payed through bank deposit and sent them a copy of the transaction to confirm payment. They promptly gave me updates on my orders and unfortunately the Ice Loly Maker was out of stock, since it sells like hotcakes it was inevitable, I was just too late in ordering. These things happen, it's out of their hands. Anyway, they politely suggested I change the item, so I opted for the KUSINER storage set which was ideal to help me with organizing the little ones' clutter and add a splash of color in the room.</div>

I have recently been hooked on the Instagram craze and have joined the ranks of people who check it everyday, not for posting selfies though, but actually for window shopping, product reviews and meeting fellow bloggers. You can buy almost anything online nowadays and in the Philippines IG sellers are everywhere. Needed Capricho was one of the first IG shops that I kept tabs on and now I am a certified Capricho Girl after purchasing my first pair of shoes from their fab selection.</div>

Needed Capricho is one fast growing shop of locally made shoes and bags on Facebook and Instagram. Their proudly Marikina made shoe line, Capricho Lane is getting rave reviews from their customers, yours truly, being one of them. I stumbled upon their shop through the SFS/Ads of other shops I was already following on IG by chance. Their ad that was posted was of a tan colored Coleen T-Strap pair which I thought was absolutely adorable and immediately followed their account. I was staring at all their shoes for days. They all looked great, had my size, a variety of colors, affordable and made to order unless stated on hand.</div>

After a week of window shopping I showed my cousin a picture of the shoes, she was impressed as well and that sealed the deal for me. We both decided to order the same black Coleens. I messaged them through Viber, it was Ms. Vanessa who answered all of my inquiries and in the end took my order.  She was polite and very patient with me, being just my second time purchasing through IG, I had a lot of questions. I payed through bank deposit and got my orders after 2 weeks and they were awesome! They fit me perfectly and are really comfy to walk around in, even my cousin had only good things to say about her pair. Just look at them when worn.</div>
