After 9 years together, GMA 7 talents Arthur Solinap and Rochelle Pangilinan tied the knot in a romantic garden wedding in Tagaytay last August 8 which happens to be their 9th anniversary as a couple. Arthur originally planned to propose marriage to his now, wife, way back in 2011 but didn't push through with it. They both look at it as a wise decision not to rush into things, especially since their relationship wasn't stable enough at that point to take it up to the next level.
6 years later, with a more mature and stronger bond as a couple, they decided that everything was in place and that it was the perfect time to get married. The two got engaged in February 2016 at Balay Indang Resort in Cavite. The celebrity couple, who both started in Philippine showbiz as part of dance
groups, Rochelle, with SexBomb; Arthur together with cousin Dingdong Dantes, with Abztract - had a
Christian, garden wedding at Los Arboles in Tagaytay City.
Rochelle always wanted to get married in a place where the weather was cool. She is a dancer, and is often drenched in sweat most of the time haha and definitely deserves to look fresh, for a change, on her special day. It also happens that Tagaytay is near and dear to both her and Arthur's hearts since it's the city where they became an official couple. How special is that?!
The wedding entourage included celebrities Dingdong Dantes, Jolina Magdangal, Andrea Torres, Alessandra de Rossi, Luane Dy, Glaiza de Castro and Max Collins. Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Sen. Tito Sotto and Jose Manalo (of the longest running noon time variety show Eat Bulaga), meanwhile, were among the couple's principal sponsors—those who have become a big part of both Arthur and Rochelle's lives and careers.
Musician Jay Durias, formerly of South Border, led a 14-piece orchestra that serenaded everyone during the wedding ceremony, while power couple Ogie Alcasid and his wife Regine Velasquez, who also happened to be the sponsors of Rochelle and Arthur, crooned love songs at the reception.
Their wedding was indeed both simple and elegant, was fun even though it was formal, a true celebration of their love and a reunion with the people who matter to them most in life. It was quite star-studded event fit for the lovebirds.
From the paradise-like venue, the spectacular garden themed-decor, the photo and video coverage by Nice Print Photo, the gown, down to the catering handled by Bizu, shows us just how great a team was behind Arthur and Rochelle's wedding from start to finish. Oh and did I forget to mention the cake, which was an 8-layer black masterpiece with cascading handcrafted sugar flowers in gold and pantone colors. It looked quite stunningly elegant with the contrasting colors, don't you think?
